AdAware (by Lavasoft) - If you, like us, enjoy searching out cool new software to use in our day-to-day lives, well you know there is a lot out there.  Much of this is becoming free to use, but it can come at a cost.  It is what is commonly known as "SpyWare".

AdAware is a cool FREE tool that you can use to regularly scan your system for any SpyWare you may have unknowingly installed and/or running on your system.  [go get it]

Adobe Acrobat Reader  - Well we had to have this one. Besides, it is needed for many of the Crystal Decisions White Papers listed in our White Papers section. [go get it]

Crystal Decisions - Creators of the defacto world reporting standard and developers of the celebrated Crystal Reports.

Ken Hamady - is a popular and knowledgeable independent Crystal Reports instructor/consultant, based out of Virginia that is worth checking out.  Has some great resources available on his site.

ReportMiner.com -  These guys make a really cool utility (rptDiff) that will help you compare and evaluate Crystal reports to one another.  Pretty handy for report designers and testers. 

SoftwareForces.com - One of their really cool products (.rpt Inspector™) allows you to make detailed (really detailed) changes across multiple reports, in minutes vs. hours or days.

Winzip - This is a must, so in case you don't have it, or your version is a bit older, you might want to grab it now.  [go get it]
