"Keycode is Invalid.  Please check the number and reenter it"  Why did I get this?

Most commonly, this error is generated if an incorrect Release Code is being used.

For example purchasing a Crystal Ease 2.0 Release Code will NOT work with Crystal Ease 3.0 and visa versa.

Likewise, if you are attempting to use/apply an Upgrade Release Code to an unsupported version, you will see this message.  Upgrade codes are specific and dependent on the existence of a valid Release Code.  Likely to occur during a new Crystal Ease installation.
