Can Crystal Ease run under Terminal Server/Citrix?

Although this was never tested and Crystal Ease was not specifically designed to run under TS/Citrix environments there are customers that are running Crystal Ease successfully with Terminal Services and/or Citrix.

In some cases, the key was to actually burn the installation files to a CD-ROM and run the installation as the Administrator from the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

In another, it was necessary to copy the richtx32.dll and richtx32ocx from the C:\Win\system to the C:\Winnt\system32 and manually register them.

It is also important to make sure that whichever users that will need access to the application, have access (full) to the applicable ...\Program Files\Surfing Gecko Software  and ...\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions and\or ...\Program Files\Seagate Software... folders on the server.

Note: As this was never an officially tested or designed environment, support for this will be limited to our best effort.  With existing users running under this, it should only be a matter of isolating the rights/access to the files.
